LO4: Adobe Illustrator technical learning.


Adobe Illustrator is a program used by both artists and graphic designers to create vector images. These images will then be used for company logos, promotional uses or even personal work, both in print and digital form.

Glossary


Raster - This loses quality when you stretch the image. This is also called a lossy file.
Vector - This keeps he quality and it is also a smooth image. This is also called a lossle file.
Export files.
PNG - This stands for Portable Network Graphic.
JPEG - Joint Photographic expert group.
TIFF - Stands for Tagged Image File Format and it is used for printing, they need to be at least 300 ppi. This is lossless.
EPS - Encapsulated post script file.

These are some of the things that I did when I learning all of the features of Illustrator.
